A giant dermoid cyst of the orbit present in adulthood — a case report

چکیده
Dermoid cysts are common orbital developmental tumors in childhood. They account for 3 to 9% of primary tumors. considered be congenital, but not all them diagnosed at birth. benign choristomas that arise from sequestration ectoderm along the lines embryonic fusion mesodermal processes destined bone. In most cases, lesion is close zygomatic-frontal suture leading a superotemporal subcutaneous mass eyebrow or eyelid. The intraorbital location relatively rare and more prone complications, particularly compressive. We report case 41-year-old man with large tumor. imaging aspects were evocative an extraconal dermoid cyst. tumor was resected through transconjunctival route. Histopathologic examination confirmed diagnosis
